Tommy's Egg Float Project

Egg Float Hypothesis

My hypothesis is the more salt added to the water, the higher the egg will float.

Definition of Density

Density (symbol: ? - Greek : rho) is a measure of mass per unit of volume . The higher an object's density, the higher its mass per volume. The average density of an object equals its total mass divided by its total volume. A denser object (such as iron ) will have less volume than an equal mass of some less dense substance (such as water ).

Define Mass

The mass of an object is a fundamental property of the object; a numerical measure of its inertia; a fundamental measure of the amount of matter in the object. Definitions of mass often seem circular because it is such a fundamental quantity that it is hard to define in terms of something else.

Density and Mass

Density is defined as mass per unit volume
